The customer and company register of the ‘Kymenlaaksonyt’ event calendar

 

4 Purpose of the processing of personal data
The data of the customer and company register can be processed for the following purposes:
•    updating the data of the event calendar
•    conveying messages regarding maintenance 
•    managing customer relationships
•    performing statistical and market research
•    providing and producing of services, and 
•    marketing of the services as well as communications of the ‘Kymenlaaksonyt’ event calendar.

 

5 Data contained in the register
In terms of personal customers, the administrators of the ‘Kymenlaaksonyt’ event calendar have the following data available:
•    name
•    connections to companies, associations, development projects or organisations
•    domicile
•    contact information (e-mail, telephone numbers) 
•    event information
•    documents surrendered by the customer
•    marketing communications sent to the customer.

In terms of companies, the administrators of the ‘Kymenlaaksonyt’ event calendar have the following data available:

•    domicile
•    e-mail address
•    telephone number
•    other information gained with the customer’s consent
•    any data related to invoicing and collection.

The register is updated during the customer relationship with data received and collected from the customer.

 

7 Regular data disclosures
The data of personal customers are not disclosed to third parties for use. The data may be transferred to third parties for the marketing of Cursor, City of Kouvola and Kouvola Innovation Oy. Third parties have access to the data only for maintenance purposes of the data systems; non-disclosure is required of the third parties and the right to use is not transferred.
The data of the register can be disclosed for payment services, data processing or other similar tasks commissioned by the registrar.

The data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.

 

9 Register protection principles
A. Manual material
•    The data is stored carefully and according to good practise.
•    Any material containing customer information is disposed of with the help of a disposal service.

B. ICT processed data
•    The data is stored in a carefully guarded Google data centre with access control.

10 Right to ban of the registered party
The registered party has the right to ban the registrar from processing data regarding the party for direct advertising, remote sales and other direct marketing as well as for market and opinion surveys, personal registers and genealogy. The ban must be made in writing and submitted to the registrar:

11 Inspection right of the registered party
The registered party has the right to inspect the data stored in the register regarding the party and to receive a copy of it. The inspection request must be made in writing and submitted to the registrar. The inspection request must be submitted in writing and duly signed to:

12 Data correction
The registrar will correct, remove or complement any personal data in the register that is, in view of the processing purpose, faulty, unnecessary, defective or obsolete, either on its own initiative or according to a demand made by the registered party. The registered party must contact the registrar in order to correct the data.
